Rules and Regulations

Customers are requested to first go through all the terms and conditions before booking the tour with us. Once the booking is done, it is presumed that you have read and understood the rules and regulations formulated by the company and agree to abide by them printed in Brochure/ Invoice/ Registration Form, Service List etc.

Every one of our tours is unique and differs in nature. We would like to recommend that all members first learn about the trip that you are about to take before proceeding with the booking. 

Your tour days will be counted from the first day of your journey until you arrive at your final destination.

If a customer wishes to cancel a trip after booking with us or during the trip, he or she must submit a formal application by mail. We will only consider your termination over email, not over the phone. 

If a consumer cancels a tour while it is already in progress, we will not issue a refund.

Booking/Registration Follow Up

When you decide to book with us for any trip, you must pay the advance amount of Rs 4000/- per person and the entire amount of your Rail /Air fare has to be paid once your ticket is booked by us.

If you book a trip with us 15 days prior of tour departure, the entire price must be paid at once as a final payment. No advance payment in that case will be entitled.

Payment to us can be made through A/c pay, UPI, NEFT or cash. (Cash payment will be collected you at our head office)

All the final payment must be done by you before 20 days of your tour departure, the final payment date will be provided to you once you do the advance booking with us.

Your Tour Cost

Tour price given in the Bengali brochure is per head including accommodation, food, and transportation as accordance with our tour itineraries which excludes 5% GST, RAIL FARE, AIR FARE AND RAIL FOOD.

Tour Coct Excludes

GST 5%, Rail food, Rail ticket, Air fare, laundry, entry fees, guide charges, safari costs, excess luggage carry charges above 15 kg, mineral water, bed tea, tips, room service, Rail/Air portage charge horse riding charge, surfing, medical exp, meals and snacks, and long-distance bus /train journey any personal nature items not included in tour details.

Journey by Road

Luxury coach as per tour itinerary, seat number in bus on rotation basis will be done. We use luxury coach bus, small car, Tata sumo, Mini coach, and Tempo Traveller depending on the type of tour itinerary and passenger’s strength.

During your touring, if you need to take an auto or another means of transportation from the bus parking to the main point. The customer will be responsible for the given fare.

Journey by Rail/Air

As the cost of the rail and air fare is not included in our tour cost. You have to pay the entire printed amount of the ticket to us. We will book your ticket on request but we are depended on the Railway authority so we cannot guarantee you the confirm tickets in any sector.

Accommodation

Family wise room in good standard category hotel with attach bath except Sri Sri  Kedar-Badri tour. In case you book tour in accordance with triple bedded category room, then in that case you will be provided one double bedded room with one roll over mattress on the floor. We request all the customers not to ask for any special Category room as all Room allotment will be done by the Hotel management. If in case any problem arises with the room kindly notify to the tour Staff within 30 mins of allotment.

Luggage

Company is only responsible to  carry your luggage from one location to another. Customer has to move their own luggage’s to and from the train. Only one piece of luggage weighing 15 kg per person is permitted; any additional luggage will be carried by the customer, and any excess portage charges will be borne solely by the customer.

The responsibility of looking after your luggage is complelty your duty. Each one of the customer will look after their own kuggage when being carried, load and unload time. The company will not be held responsible if any loss or theft occurs.

LTC

if needed, will be issue from our head office within one month of completion of tour. The company will be mentioned starting actual rail, bus fare, air tickets and other actual costs availed by the tourists. Entitled for your re-imbursement as like Bus, Rail, Air. In case your concession has been approved, other expenses for your re-imbursement as like Hotel, Pony ride, Air cost, etc. Tourist must collect such Money receipts/ Certificates from respective concerns during the tour.

Food

We provide Bengali food by our own cook: Bed tea, Breakfast with tea, Lunch (Non veg/Veg), Dinner (Veg/ Non Veg).

Smoking and drinking is strictly prohibited in the Train, Bus, Reception hall, Dinning place.

The management shall not be held responsible or liable to pay any compensation for any incident of theft, burglary etc or any incident causing and loss injury to missing or death (may God forbid) of any customer during the tour period.

All the customer to keep their own luggage’s under lock and key for safety. The management shall not be held liable to pay for any loss or damage of luggage during the tour period.

Tour Manager

We need minimum 10 pax for any tour to avail the Tour Manager from the companies end or else company will provide the experience staff for completion of tour.

Medical Emergency

we would request all of our participants to consult with a doctor before embarking on any trip with us, especially in high altitude zones. If you become ill or have a medical emergency while travelling, we will endeavour to assist you with doctors and other medical facilities, but all medical charges must be covered by the member or his or her family member. In that instance, the company is not obligated to bear any costs. The company will not responsible if any mishap happens (God forbid) to any of our customer during the journey. 

Documents

All members travelling with us must have an identification card, such as a voter id, Aadhar card, or passport.

Juridiction

Any contract or agreement entered in to the company at the head office/ branch office/ representatives anywhere, regarding any matter related to tour will be deemed to have entered into with the Head office and subject to Kolkata jurisdiction only.

Cash Payment

Cash payment will be only done at our Kolkata head office. If any person book tour through our representative then in that case payment will only be done through cheque, or online basis. No cash payment will be done outside our head office

Money Refund

In case of cancelation of tour from us or from your end due to any circumstances then after deducting the cancelation charge, the refunded money will be given back to you only through online payment and not by cash as per govt policy.

Unavoidable Circumstances

If the tour programme has to be changed/extended and sightseeing postponed/cancelled due to factors beyond our control such as riots, political unrest, bandhs, accidents, or any natural man-made calamity, the passengers will be required to accept changes in itinerary, hotels, and transportation, as well as bear the additional expenses incurred to facilitate the same.

If any passenger departs the tour in the middle for whatever reason, no refund will be given for the remainder of the tour. The cost of the return journey will be borne by the customer itself.

In the event that the trip is cancelled by the customer:-In case that the tour is cancelled by your end, you must follow the cancellation terms provided by us and also have to bear the cancellation charge of rail and air fare.

In the event that the trip is cancelled by us:-If we cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, we will reimburse the entire amount paid by you, with the exception of the cancellation charge for rail/air fare, which you must bear.

Online Booking

Those who are unable to visit our office in person, they are welcome to inquire and book any trip by phone or WhatsApp. We will give you with all of the necessary information as well as the account details into which you have to deposit the amount. We will generate an invoice and send it to you at your provided WhatsApp number or email address after we receive the payment.

Cancellation and Refund Rules

If Rakshit Special cancels a tour, tour amount shall be refunded by cheque online by 48hours.

In case of tour being cancelled by the management due to natural calamities political strike, permission of National Forests declared before the journey date.

Pandemic, dislocation of Rail track or cancellation of train, road block imposition of curfew/ bandh or any unavoidable circumstances the passengers will be entitled to refunded subjected cancellation charges of 20% of the total amount of tour cost cancellation charges the subject surrendered of this final Receipt or Advance Receipt.

All services such as Railway Ticket hotel accommodation, transportation, staff are pre blocked well in advance we are liable to pay penalties to all our suppliers.

If the Passengers have to cancel the tour due to any reason. They have to make an application in writing to that effect cancellation charges given herein.

No refund shall be made after the above period.

Cancellation Charges for Air / Upper/ Sleeper Class Rail tickets are applicable as per the rules of the Airlines/Rail authority. Any refund payable will be given to passenger after received of refund from respective Airlines/Railway authority after deducting the processing charge.
